Yes – as long as you have continued to pay into your account as per the original plan, and haven’t yet made any withdrawals. These are as follows:
7.5% of the total amount you have paid into your savings plan over years 1 through 10, credited to your savings plan at the end of year 10, plus
5.0% of the total amount you have paid into your savings plan over years 11 through 15, credited to your savings plan at the end of year 15, plus
5.0% of the total amount you have paid into your savings plan over years 15 through 20, credited to your savings plan at the end of year 20, plus
5.0% of the total amount you have paid into your savings plan over years 20 through 25, credited to your savings plan at the end of year 25
5-year savings plans are not eligible for loyalty bonuses.
There are also the bonus allocation rates which you receive at the time of paying into your savings plan, based on the amount you save each month/year (all numbers applicable in USD, EUR, and GBP):
100 – 149 per month (1,200 – 1,799 per year): 100% allocation rate (what you pay in)
150 – 299 per month (1,800 – 3,599 per year): 101% allocation rate (what you pay in, plus 1%)
300 – 449 per month (3,600 – 5,399 per year): 102% allocation rate (what you pay in, plus 2%)
450 – 599 per month (5,400 – 7,199 per year): 103% allocation rate (what you pay in, plus 3%)
600 – 1,124 per month (7,200 – 13,499 per year): 104% allocation rate (what you pay in, plus 4%)
1,125 or more per month (13,500+ per year): 105% allocation rate (what you pay in, plus 5%)
If the amount you were thinking to save each month is slightly below a number which would give you an extra 1% every time you pay in, have a think about whether or not you can afford the extra to give you that extra 1%. It might seem small, but it really adds up over time - optimise everything!
